Astan Quds Razavi Museum Collection

Location: South side of the shrine, Kosar courtyard

These museums are one of the largest collections of museums in the country, which includes a treasure trove of architecture and handicrafts of the last ten centuries, as well as collections donated by various individuals. The complex consists of a central museum, which includes exquisite gifts from various people to the Razavi Collection, the Carpet Museum, the Quran Museum, the Master Farshchian Hall and the Anthropology Museum.

The Central Museum of Astan Quds Razavi is open every day from 8 am to about 6 pm, but other museums are open until about 12 noon. After watching this huge treasure, go to Reza Bazaar and visit the oldest bazaar around the shrine.

Location: East side of Imam Reza Street, between Falakeh Ab and 17 Shahrivar

Less than a quarter of a pedestrian walk from Astan Quds Razavi Museum to Reza Bazaar. This market is one of the oldest markets around the shrine and the city of Mashhad. The spice perfume in this market has a sweet feeling for the old pilgrims of Imam Reza. Take a tour of the market and buy delicious and colorful Mashhadi food.
If you are interested in the story of architecture and the construction of this bazaar, you can join the guide of Reza Bazaar in Avayar. If you are still bored after touring this market, you can patrol the surrounding streets. Imam Reza Street is full of shops selling souvenir products as well as reputable brands that you can look at whenever you want.

The second day of Mashhad travel program

The second day of the Mashhad trip program is dedicated to sightseeing and entertainment in the largest water parks in Iran. It is better not to make too many plans for the second day. The fun in its water parks lasts for a few hours and then you can go to Torqabeh summer houses half an hour away from Mashhad and enjoy the most delicious six-league kebabs of your life.

One or two of these water parks are on the way to Torqabeh, so you can go to the water parks after having breakfast and have some fun, and then go to Torqabeh and have lunch.

Darogheh House is one of the historical houses left from the Qajar era that has a spectacular and attractive architecture. This house is one of the remnants of traditional Iranian architecture that we suggest you take the time to see.

You can hear the story of this house, why it is called Darogheh House, from the guide house of Malek House (Darogheh House). After your visit to this house is over, you can go to the shrine and after the pilgrimage, either go to the hotel to relax or watch one of the parks in Mashhad.

If you want to take the subway to Darogheh’s house, all you have to do is get to 17 Shahrivar station. If you want to go by bus to visit this historic house, take the buses that pass through Vahdat Boulevard and get off the bus at the corner of Velayat Boulevard.

Wherever you are in the city, you can take taxis to the shrine by taxi to the shrine, because it is not far from the shrine. The darogheh house is open every day from 8 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 7 pm. So be careful to plan so that you do not reach this building between 14:00 and 16:00.
